Community Services Department
The Community Services Department helps provide solutions to problems for communities as well as individual families. The guiding principal is to present a positive focus in the lives of individuals, families, and the community by teaching problem-solving skills and tools.
Areas of domestic intervention and treatment:
- Family therapy - parenting, couples, communication skills for parents and children, and divorce
- Dealing with problems related to domestic violence and abuse
- Single-parent families
- Elderly - nursing care and tools to help deal with old age
- Placement of children in day care according to eligibility
- High risk youth and their family members
- Assistance in dealing with loss in a family
- Professional counseling – referring adults who do not integrate in the workplace to obtain help and professional training
- Domestic supervision and assistance
Areas of community intervention:
- Providing workshops for community leaders in order to improve the quality of community life, according to the needs of each community .
- Setting up a framework of volunteers and actively involved individuals in community centers
- Recruiting volunteers and actively involved individuals in the community
- Clubs for golden-agers
- Vacations for qualifying working mothers
- Setting up local emergency teams to provide immediate treatment
All consulting services are provided free-of-charge while safeguarding the individual’s privacy
